Post power outage

Below, Paris Fant and daughter Kaeleigh, 5, take part a Saturday morning gathering at Bingo Palace during the Dec. 28, 2013, electrical outage. Bingo Palace has its own generators, and had full electrical service during the shutdown. Most of the installation’s electricity was off for about seven mid-day hours, to allow time for an upgrade of the main power station. Golf instructor Bill Vicain (right) offers some guidance for Lt. Col. Melissa Williams during a golf clinic held Dec. 28, 2013, at Gordon Lakes Golf Club, during the outage.
