See page 9 for tournament results. Photos by Bill Bengtson / Fort Gordon Public Affairs Office Over 70 service members participated in the Fort Gordon Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers combatives tournament, held Nov. 16 in Gym 5. The event was open to all active duty, guard, or Reserve of any branch of service.

“This is an event we hold twice a year, in the fall and in the winter,” said Staff Sgt. Robert Llewellyn, Fort Gordon BOSS president. “It’s an opportunity for each service to not only show off their skills, but maybe even pick up a few new ideas.”
