Photo by Bill Bengtson / Fort Gordon Public Affairs Office Gym 5 was an especially hoops- friendly locale Saturday afternoon, with Fort Gordon Eagle’s women’s basketball team playing host to its counterpart from Keesler Air Force Base, Biloxi, Miss. The contest was knotted 49-49 at the end of four quarters, and Fort Gordon’s squad won in overtime, 62-54. The men’s squad also faced off against their Keesler counterparts, Saturday. The Eagles took a quick lead over the visitors and cruised to a 90-68 win.
